Plate and frame filter press

Plate and frame filter press is a common solid-liquid separation equipment and is widely used in many industries such as chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, food, and environmental protection. Its working principle is to make the liquid in the suspension pass through the filter medium (filter cloth) by pressure, while the solid particles are retained on the filter cloth to form a filter cake, thereby achieving solid-liquid separation.

The equipment is mainly composed of a frame, filter plates, filter frames, a pressing device, a feed pump and other parts. As can be seen in the picture, the filter plates and filter frames are neatly arranged. The filter cloth is hung between the filter plates and the filter frames. The pressing device is used to tightly press the filter plates and the filter frames together to ensure the filtration effect.
